Not sure if it was covered, but one of the most egregious things Trump said during his shitshow today was that scientists were advising him to relocate passengers on a cruise ship who tested positive for the coronavirus (Which was another thing that the Trump Administration bungled) but that he doesn't want to because it would make the total number of cases of coronavirus go up in the US.

"I like the numbers being where they are. I don't need to have the numbers double because of one ship" -- Trump explains that he doesn't want to let people off the Grand Princess cruise ship because he doesn't want the number of coronavirus cases in the country to go up"

Yes, Trump really said this. Much to the chagrin of our resident Trump supporters, this is not fake news.

It's disgusting that Trump is putting his re-election ahead of the good of American citizens and the country.

About that cruise ship: yesterday's story on the topic at least says there were
3,500 people on the ship
21 positive tests, 19 of whom are crew members -- which is really concerning, because it suggests they could have gotten it and/or had it on another cruise, and there are more cases they've infected who disembarked.
24 tests came back negative and 1 inconclusive.
