Yep, even after one after the next ends up ripping them off. There are a lot of good go fund me out there, but I’d like to see which results in more fraud. GoFundMe or government programs... I don’t think anyone has done that, but I’d be careful in making assumptions, because the bad ones get more attention than good ones.

"I'm quite happy to have socialism, but I'll be damned if I'll allow it to be organised".
So one person ends up getting 10 times what they need, because they're photogenic or have a story that hits the right notes. And the next person gets missed because their face doesn't fit or their story doesn't come across as well. But at least the government aren't getting their dirty mitts all over it.
When challenging a Kzin, a simple scream of rage is sufficient. You scream and you leap.

Probably sounds like this.
Putin khuliyo
The Y'all Qaeda are likely using generic-brand versions of older armor. Newer armor was just ordered in 2018 and is much lighter.
If y'all had $316 million, you could get the good shit, too. Oh, and it would fit, and match, and work.
Yeah...unless it's @Skroe it's just not the same. It took me 5 tries to get sites other than Fallout 4 Far Harbor's variant.
EDIT: Oh, right, on topic:
Trump's new vaccine timeline met with deep skepticism
Before we get started, while I said even six months wasn't fast enough to save Trump, what I didn't say but should have said was "that'd still be amazing". But...apparently, not realistic.
Shame. Whoever gets that vaccine working first will be "stop paying taxes" level of rich.Drug industry experts say the new timeline is unrealistic. Many of the vaccine candidates are still in the early stages of development, and proving safety in humans is a time consuming task.
Even if a vaccine were produced before 2021, experts agree that hundreds of millions of doses, at a minimum, would be required to prevent the disease from spreading across the entire country.
"You're absolutely compressing the manufacturing time, but the kind of scale that you would need to make a meaningful dent, even if you had multiple companies manufacturing the drug ... it's a highly aggressive view of this place that we're at today," said Jeff Myers, a senior vice president at Catalyst Healthcare Consulting.
The world is pinning its hopes on a vaccine to prevent COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus. People want to be able to attend sporting events, travel without worry and celebrate major life events in person with family and friends.
But until a vaccine is successfully deployed, it will be difficult to completely lift the social distancing restrictions that have devastated the U.S. economy.

Also, "Get coronavirus test while asymptomatic" levels of rich. Because the two seem largely interchangeable nowadays.

Another slaughterhouse/meat processing plant with hundreds of workers testing positive for the coronavirus, in this case all 370 are asymptomatic.
Yep, guess I'm going vegetarian for a while. (yes, I know most meats are cooked at a temperature hot enough to probably kill the virus, but I'm not gonna fucking gamble with that shit)
Bu-bu-bu-but Edge! Didn't you hear that opening up those plants was perfectly safe? I mean, it was the President of the United States of America who said that. Are you telling me that you don't trust the president?
"barfs" URGH! How I could keep a straight face through that, I will never know... urgh "puking sounds intensifies"
AAAAANYWAY, were there anyone who DIDN'T see this coming?
I'm legit impressed that this facility had not just 370 confirmed cases, but that all were asymptomatic. That blows my mind, and also kinda scares the living shit outta me because it calls into question just how many asymptomatic folks are walking around without realizing it.
Though I'll be interested to see if media follow up and dig into this a bit more to see if, by some miracle, this is actually the case or if someone in the official chain decided to insert that factoid so that it would be less embarrassing for one/all of the parties involved.

Despite the fact that Trump, McConnell, and Republicans overall claim that they can focus on only one thing at a time (the coronavirus, or the impeachment?!), they're not claiming that they can walk and chew bubble gum at once!
McConnell wants to continue ramming federal judges through during the pandemic, because why let something so trivial as the deaths of 60,000+ Americans derail a political agenda?
Civil Rights groups are decrying this and pleading for McConnell to at least wait until thousands of Americans stop dying every day to the virus. I'd be surprised if McConnell notices.
Still not a promising day...
69,921 dead, 1,324 in the last 24-hour period of the 4th (GMT). We are within hours of 70k deaths--if we aren't there already. 24,713 new cases, pretty much still in line with the previous weeks on average. Remember, it's just after the weekend so these numbers are often underreported. It's likely to spike tomorrow as the tally catches up.
Texas and Florida both saw increases over the previous Monday numbers. That doesn't mean too much right now as things have been fluctuating a lot the past few weeks (judging from the charts neither have had more than 3-4 consecutive days of drops before spiking again), but hopefully tomorrow's numbers are down from the previous Tuesday.
Stay safe folks.
anyone seen whats going down in venezuela?
https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...au-raid-maduro
this guy is mega cringe, his social media is like all of those ex service guys who post wishy washy quotes over chinooks or some shit. He seems to have had a company that provided armed guards for schools and then decided to invade Venezuela, as you do.
10 dead so far, 8 captured and supposively fifty two still active.
I think a big part of what went wrong was annoucing what he was going to do the day before on social media, its always a big no no.
There are two guys from the 10th Special Forces Group veterans Luke Denman and Aaron Barry, currently being paraded on TV.
This is almost funny if it wasnt serious and people didnt get killed. I reckon I could have come up with a better plan, and then not told everyone about it the day before I launched it.
Capital Hill lawmakers send DeVos a letter demanding action --
"Oh, those pesky Democrats, at it again!"
-- because they're accusing China of basically buying friendly US research on the coronavirus --
"Oh, those heroic Republicans, always standing up for what's right!"
-- and asking why US universities can get both US taxypayer money and also money from China.
Hmm, interesting. Are they blocking Russia too?We cannot allow a dangerous communist regime to buy access to our institutions of higher education, plain and simple
(reads letter)
Nope, just China. So it's not "dangerous" or "Communist" that's the problem. It's the narrative that's the problem. (There is an ongoing investigation led by Bel Biv DeVos hunting down undeclared foreign contributions, which are something a school can't have but a Presidential campaign can, see also "Super PAC" and "NRA")
Colleges and universities are required to disclose foreign donors. That's why lists like this one are not hard to find. Looks like Harvard, who did in fact return their coronavirus relief money, is #1 on the list of money from China. There's an interesting name at #3, the University of Pennsylvania.
As in, Wharton. Trump's alma mater.
Isn't that interesting.
While I am not going to defend any college or university, including my own if it comes to that, breaking any law, this is yet more Republicans trying to point fingers at China. Anything to defend their chosen leader's lack of action, even if it is "but school donations!" which is some lame-ass limp-dick see-me-after-class failshow.
Oh, and for the Party of Trump to claim this is about the Chinese twisting US research towards false ends, they don't seem to be all that upset that Trump won't let anyone in the coronavirus team testify before the House.
"But Breccia! Surely they have better things to do than tell Congress specifics about their life-saving actions and research. Oh, shit, that sounded much better in my head."
Hmm. As of an hour ago, Fauci was still due to testify before the Senate. So, either they have time, or they don't. Pick one.
that show was terrible lol but yea. This is kind of funny one of the bellingcat lads has been tweeting some funny shit.
