What better way to celebrate the rise in cases in Indiana than to reopen theaters at $0.15 a ticket on opening night!

We have new info on the USPS taking down machines. Meadows says it's the Democrats doing it and also it's not happening and it wouldn't matter if it did.
"...what?"

So support for authoritarianism is closely linked to support for Trump

Support for authoritarianism is also linked to not being able to revise false beliefs when exposed to correct information
https://link.springer.com/article/10...23-020-01767-yHere, we identify a novel factor that may predict belief updating: right-wing authoritarianism (RWA), which is characterized by a desire for order, structure, and preservation of social norms. We hypothesized that because people who score high on RWA are motivated to preserve entrenched beliefs, they may often fail to successfully update their beliefs when confronted with new information. Using a novel paradigm, we challenged participants’ false beliefs and misconceptions to elicit prediction error. In two studies, we found consistent evidence that high-RWA individuals were less successful at correcting their false beliefs. Relative to low-RWA individuals, high-RWA individuals were less likely to revise beliefs in response to prediction error. We argue that RWA is associated with a relatively closed-minded cognitive style that negatively influences belief updating.
It's been documented now that COVID can lead to strokes and heart attacks, we really still haven't gotten around to all the things that virus can cause yet. However it really does not matter Trump went golfing as if nothing happened it's not like it's going to change him in any way.

The Biggest Trump Financial Mystery? Where He Came Up With the Cash for His Scottish Resorts.

When Donald Trump brought Miss Universe to MoscowSuch was also the case for Turnberry, the historic golf resort, an hour south of Glasgow, that Trump purchased in 2014 for $60 million. His large expenditures in Scotland were notable because they came during a rocky financial stretch for Trump. The year before purchasing the Aberdeenshire estate, he was ousted as CEO of his thrice-bankrupted casino business; in 2008, he defaulted on a large Deutsche Bank loan tied to a development in Chicago.

Trump announced the venue in June 2013, saying Russia had beaten out 17 other countries. “Moscow right now in the world is a very, very important place,” he said. “We wanted Moscow all the way.” Trump added of the Agalarovs: “One of the great families in Russia is our partner in this endeavor.”

Agalarov has served as a liaison between Trump and Putin. According to an interview, they once discussed the construction of a Trump Tower in Russia. Agalarov had also reportedly tried to set up a meeting between the two, but this was canceled due to Putin having to meet the Dutch royal couple at the time. Putin instead sent Trump a fedoskino miniature.

At first it sounded interesting, but then I looked at the actual statement and noticed that the researches had incorrectly classified some statements and others depend on interpretation in a non-consistent way.
They have:
Coffee is made from beans. FALSE; but Coffee is made from coffee beans - it's just that those "beans" are roasted berries.
Cockroaches can survive a nuclear blast. FALSE; They do survive better than humans and it will depend on how close they are.
Eating before swimming increases the risk of cramps. FALSE. The risk isn't significant (especially not for drowning), but there are suggestions that it is possible and it's almost impossible to prove a negative. (There are some indications that you are more likely to get more stomach cramps after eating, regardless of swimming.)
Spinach is high in iron. TRUE; Compared to other vegetables but not compared to meat - and it's not as useful as iron source.
Celery is a negative-calorie food because it takes more energy to digest than it provides. TRUE; This seems like an urban myth
Humans can only survive 3-4 days without water. TRUE; True on average but there are reports of some surviving for a week.
Electrons are negatively-charged ions. TRUE. Actually false, as ions are negatively charged atoms or molecules and thus are larger than electrons.
Most humans alive today have never made a phone call. TRUE. Seems unlikely when most humans actually own a mobile phone, and in many parts of the world people also share phones.
The closest living relative to the dinosaur Tyrannosaurus Rex is the chicken. TRUE All birds are as close - eagles as well.
Venus is the planet closest to Earth. TRUE Venus is the planet that gets closest to Earth - but any specific time it varies between Venus, Mars and Mercury - some say that on average it is Mercury.
The USA was originally 13 British colonies. TRUE The USA was created from them, but I wouldn't say that they were British colonies and part of the USA at the same time, and obviously the current USA consists of additional land.
It is also unclear why they focus on RWA instead of pure Authoritarianism.
