Obviously saying that you will buy a hundred million doses at 19.5$ per shot of a future vaccine may make companies ready to build manufacturing plants and start production - before it is approved; so OWS may have accelerated the manufacturing of this currently not approved vaccine. (On a separate note EU claims they will pay less than 19.5$ per shots for their 200+100 million.)

However, Pfizer clearly want to distance themselves from it; that's how toxic www.loser.com is.

But it didn't contribute anything for that. If you want anyone to thank for building manufacturing plants it's 100% the german govt to thank for that. Even the art analogy isn't accurate, because it's Germany who commissioned the painting.

True, but normally the one creating the piece of art will be graceful towards you; perhaps put you in it in some way, or some other nod.

It's rare that they run away from you - like in this case.

They're not running away though they're simply setting things straight by saying OWS didn't affect development in any way.

The artist is simply stating the art isn't quite finished, that the commissioner didn't have anything to do with the creative process and hasn't paid anything yet all while the commissioner is trying to take credit for parts of that whole process.

The role of OWS in that whole affair hasn't even come up yet. They play the role of the agent who's going to take that finished piece of art and get it to the people who will appraise it, certify, etc... and allow it to be sold. At which point the artist can take it to an art show and sell it. OWS is going to accelerate THAT process.

Because the vaccine isn't even ready to be "appraised" (as the word I used in my example) OWS can't really take credit for anything yet, because they have yet to play their part.

I was simplifying, but yes. Germany is paying for everything regarding production while OWS is promising to help ensure speedy review and approval process when it's ready for evaluation and promising to buy it when it's finally on the market.

I'm fairly certain that those debts coming due are personal/business debts and in no way associated with him as the president or in any other political capacity, therefore the funding coming in can't be used for paying off those debts, legally, because the money is going into accounts that have rules and regulations regarding personal use.
