WoD raids and portals for quick mount farming

when you do black rock foundry or hellfire citadel you can complete this quest thanks to wich you talk to khadgar and he opens a portal to the last bosses, you complete this quest by doing the raid 4x. My question is if you enter the raid on your main talk to khadgar and open the portal will you be able to invite your alt via the premade group finder and succesfully enter the raid with the portal (thanks to your main) being up? entering it, killing the boss, looting and not having a lockout on your main anyway?

but what if the alt gets leader and kicks the main out of the group due to his offline inactivity?
