- Mythic+ leaderboards with seasonal rewards like Gladiator, score-based, following the same WoWprogress concept.

- Faction invasions in Azeroth like Legion ones. You'd be free to join the fight and gain some currency, which would help you meet other players and potentially fight them. Why not? Could also use something like Honor Hold legion attacks in TBC, or Fel-Reaver alike big "enemy faction" bosses to stay away from.

- 4 Ally/Horde caravans with strong NPCs to attack or defend in old Azeroth.
The old world is literally dead. The winning faction gets +% rep/gold looted (or something similar), region-wide, on a weekly reset basis. You could see these move on your world map (Silithus -> Ashenvale caravan carrying some resources).

I'm genuinely concerned about instanced World pvp (Warfronts and Islands Expeditions). That doesn't make Azeroth alive. People can also effectively choose to be non PvP flagged and not give a damn. Having "something" to do (caravans, for example?) gives you a reason to be PvP flagged rather than choose to farm herbs, living on the edge and taking the risk of being ambushed. Why would you do that?

Last but not least I heavily endorse the "bounty" concept the mentioned in a Q&A. In Southshore vs Tarren Mill you get more points if you kill people who have killed many of your fellow players. That'd be amazing!
