Mythic Fel Hounds - Enflamed Corruption question.

I forget if its the closest or farther player that gets gripped to you and I seem to be struggling with this. Atleast I think I am. It seems very haphazard when it occurs. Ive been trying to just get as far away from people as I can as on heroic, but I feel this is wrong because we're just getting gripped all over the place. I understand to simply keep this away from the tank and thats been fine so far, but what can I do to clean this up among everyone else? Its not causing problems per-say, but its something id like to not mess me up so much. I asked my guildmates, but I honestly didnt get a clear enough answer so I figure Id ask here for more detail. The fatboss guide kinda just shrugs it off as a "minor annoyance" so im getting mixed signals with this.

Closest, just be spread the minimal distance for the fire debuff and you'l be fine. No point in running far away. I think 'minor annoyance' covers it well.
