War Board Game Suggestions

I know there are 15 billion flavors of Risk but I am partial to Axis and Allies but I have only played the original my family had at some point...which someone seems to have misplaced...I have met a group of people that like board games and they like the idea of Axis and Allies but when I told them it can take some time they said it might not work. They tend to get drunk before the end could occur lol. Anyone have any ideas for some good WW2 or general War board games that aren't too long but can be fun for a couple hours?

Risk 2210 is a time limited game. It isn’t WW2 based though.
