I mean, you have to admit that this is concerning and as Peterson says it's creeping into other areas like business studies and biology.

If we are going to measure scientific or empirical evidence based on the social standards of the time, we might as well give up now and go back to the Dark Ages.
It's frankly about as alarming as an ant infestation. That nonsense has been around for decades, and it's failed to gain traction. Because the only sorts of people that write about, for example patriarchy in fluid mechanics, are people who have no fucking idea about the subject. And as such, they're taken seriously by approximately 0% of the people working in the field. It's hard for postmodernism to creep into fields of study when people in the actual fields treat it as nothing more than an amusement.

If you're actually interested in the integrity of science, you should be more worried about charlatans that masquerade as people in the field but spew garbage. The John Gabriels and Andrew Wakefields of the world, who people actually get hoodwinked by. Not the postmodernists writing about gender roles in quantum mechanics.

Well that's good to hear, but what about the academic professors and lecturers who grade students or a thesis/dissertation? Are they infected with this postmodernist thinking? It sounds like it's prolific in areas such as human studies.

Academic professors and lecturers are also the "people working in the field."
