i thought i said in the op .
hes wanting to game and stream and video edit the stream for youtube. i guess that would include rendering . so something that can do all that.
he also needs 3 monitors and would just as soon get 64 gb ram. he wont be using speakers cause he prefers headsets . a mic thats not on a headset would be fine like a yeti or something. again though the price can go up as high as it needs to to get the best performance he can while doing all that. and he likes shooter games and wow of course. but i know you dont need a crazy machine to do wow so its mostly for the shooter games.
i dont know enough about building computers to go do the parts list myself.
All the shit above, but with a 65" LG OLED TV and Dolby Atmos setup. And a wireless Vive Pro. And all the consoles because why block yourself off from the good exclusives out there.
Fascinates build is what I would go with as well. Except I'd do a Ducky Keybaord, Razer Naga Epic Mouse (wireless & rechargeable) and the SoundblasterX Katana over the Razer Leviathan. Though the Razer items are decent as well.
I'd also do a hard tube water cooling loop.

Fascinate went with a sensible build instead of ignoring prudence and just picking expensive stuff for the lolz.
There is upward mobility there with the peripherals so yea, doing differently with the monitor(s) and keyboard makes sense depending on what your friend is after.
I'd just buy what is reliable, more than good enough to be solid for the next 2-3 years. No reason to go complete overkill.
If peripherals are included then I'd probably jump from 3 monitors to 6, and probably make them all identical with a nice stand. Haven't different monitor sizes and brands is annoying. Differences in color, etc, bleh.

you cheaped out on monitors =(
My build may have been a bit on the high side, but for something with an unlimited budget it was not too bad and most of the parts I chose are not expensive for the lolz, the 3 monitors may be expensive and you could probably do with 1 gsync for gaming and the other 2 more reasonably priced ones, but it's not like you are going to replace those quickly, good monitors should last you for a long time and imo it is ok to spend a bit more on those.
I admit the motherboard was seriously overkill but at least X299 should still be upgradable (although you never know with intel), the 10 core CPU is still plenty fast and at higher resolutions the GPU is a more limiting factor while allowing a lot of multitasking.
GPU prices are a bit nuts atm but I read they are starting to come down so here's hoping. The card I chose does not even seem to be availble anymore, they go in and out of stock so fast it's annoying.
While fascinate's build is not bad on most of the parts (I would not buy a seagate HDD but that's just me) but I would not touch razers peripherals, read too much horror stories, and that synapse always online driver stuff from them is another reason to stay away from them.
It would be fair to say it started excessive but didn't reach ridiculousness until Alantor.
I haven't had trouble with razer, but peripherals are something the OP's friend will want to do his due diligence on since much of it comes down to personal preference.

The keyboard and soundbar are kinda preference but the naga epic is strictly worse. The trinity is basically a hex, naga, and mamba all in one. It has swappable sideplates to fit your needs.
If you're trying to game on all 3 of those monitors in some sort of extended screen the 1080ti is not going to drive very many frames. Its not some god card. I know because I own a 1440 ultrawide and a 1080ti. You also picked a 7900x over an 8700k and why do you have a 1500w power supply? You also picked 2 solid states which I guess isn't that much of a problem but why? Its just not sensible. Just because you have an unlimited budget doesn't mean you just buy things because you can. Your build was not without its flaws and you shouldn't pretend like it was.
I already admitted there were some flaws, but why settle for a 6 core if you can afford more and want to stream and edit video's, I could have just as easily made the pc 2-3x as expensive as I did and you would have gained very little, HEDT parts are there for enthousiast who have a use for them and can offord them which this guy can.
I would assume he wants a 3 monitor setup so he can game and stream and browse or whatnot at the same time so the 1080ti should do just fine.
I actually had some other parts in mind for this build, but they were not (yet) to be found on pc partpicker so I settled for something different then I intended
