didn't it started in silithus when Sargeras plunge the sword making the wound. the goblins then discover azerite from that effect in that area? if so how it now found on other far away zone?

but for gameplay reasons it doesn't show up outside of the new lands for now. Maybe if we get some sort of old world World Quests they will make it appear there, but don't expect that to happen any time soon.
