It will be at least 4 or 5 weeks. Likely 6. Earliest possible I could see 8.2.5 launching is mid September.
Even if 8.2.5 launches in the middle and 8.3 is up by the end of September, I think they will have a hard time releasing 8.3 this year. Unless its a smaller patch than 8.2.
I‘m pretty sure 8.3 will be released this year as it will be smaller in scope than 8.2 was. Delaying 8.3 until 2020 would make 8.2 the longest running content patch for quite a while.

Well, not necessarily. 5.2 was bigger than 5.4 for example. It was the case with WoD and Legion though. As I said, I think this year they just swapped the patches and made 8.2 bigger because it was absolutely necessary to keep players for BfA. 8.3 being bigger than 8.2 means we have to get at least two new zones, a mega dungeon and another raid and I don’t see this happen at all.

We were talking about 8.3 and not 8.3.5. At least that’s what I am referring to.

And you think they’ll achieve this when they’re late with all of the content patches this expansion? They even didn’t do it with Legion although it was possible.
What I want to say: 8.3. being as big as 8.2 or bigger and being shortened to a 6 months duration doesn’t make sense in my eyes. It’s either 8.3. being smaller and shorter lifetime or 8.3 being bigger and longer lifetime.
