I am really angry about this. After being in charge as a Raidleader for so many years this is the first time i am very upset when it comes to consumables.
I always crafted all the Cauldrons needed and starting with Uldir next week its the first time i need to manage to have enough Expulsoms.
So why do i as a RL have to spend my Expulsoms to the cauldron while everyone else is making money with it?
Will be hard time to get others to craft cauldrons for raids.
This needs to be fixed as fast as possible!
as you can see here its the first time it costs so much special material.
this is just meh.

if you raid three days per week for at least 3 hours that means you will need at least 6 cauldrons = 30 expulsoms.
and most raids probably raid a bit more so the costs are getting out of hand fast.

you actually dont get the point. its not about being able to craft it, but adding another layer of organisation for RLs that wasnt needed.
there is already a lot to think about. trust me.

Actually, you're just avoiding the reality. You're the raid leader not the soccer mom. Make your guild help with crafting them. Have crafters send you stuff to scrap. simple Originally Posted by Krovicz

Yeah, have people buy their own. You can't guarantee the cauldrons every week anyway so either make them the non special mat using flasks or tell them the bring their own.

Agreed. If you don't want to make people buy them, just make individual flasks. It'll take more herbs but people generally don't have a problem helping farm herbs and you're not shouldering the burden alone. It doesn't eliminate the issue, but it's something. Originally Posted by Cizr

It's just gotten way more out of hand every single expansion. Food use to cost 1 fish. Pots were 3 herbs each.

The hydrocore is more on an issue, its very limited right now. You can always obtain more expulsom via buying greens etc. Does anyone know if myth+ drops hydrocore?

Our RL tells us to be prepared for raids. I will have my flasks, gems and enchants ready. I won't be wasting my feasts just to be nice lol. I will get money for it, if guild does not provide, I will just AH it.

You really don't have an argument since cauldrons still give more flasks than they cost. You still save a lot of gold. If you think you don't, don't craft them. Easy as that. Alchemists already have the only relevant profession bonus with 2h flasks anyway.

Well if you are raid leader, have your raiders send you all green drops that they get or Blue drops from WQs or crafting. Scrap the stuff to get your Expulsions.
I have my Lock skin every beast he seed and then have my Shammy LW up the gear for his enchanting.
I have my DH farm ore and herbs for my Druid Herbalist(so I feel your pain) and my BS/JC Hunter.
These items are really not that hard to get for those running around doing WQs for the rep. So you yourself dont need to be the ONLY one doing the work for the cauldrons. Have your raiders send you what ever green/blue trash or craftables they have so you get the expulsions to make the cauldrons that they all benefit from
