You completely got it wrong but I'm not offended you did. The reason it bothers me is because it feels like someone part of the production is trying to push in politics where it doesn't belong. Even the worst Disney/Marvel movies have been just okay, so at worst this movie will be 'meh', What has been the worse? Thor: The Dark World I guess. I’m just a little bit worried... that we’ve now had, what... three trailers? And we still know nothing about this film. No hints of story. Not vague outline of the plot.
They’ve shown us lots of little clips of Carol doing cool shit, and given us a vague outline of the cast... but no real clue as to the PLOT.

(This last bit has some real potential to be awesome. We seldom get to see high-end supers really go all out on the big screen. The closest that comes to mind is Thor in his recent 3rd act appearances, but I get the feeling that Captain Marvel is going to put that to shame.)
Editing to add: I got this from the publicly released trailers, and having read a sum total of TWO comic issues with Captain Marvel in them in my life, nothing else.Impeach the MF.

Jude Law is clearly the bad guy.
It will be interesting how much screen time is Marvel and Fury road tripping. And how much time she spends on Kree with the kree Gang.
Its an origin story so its likely Jude/villain gets little to no screen time so the hero has more time to tell their story which will be mostly boring flashbacks to her training and falling over a lot.

Caught the spot last night. Still not too enthusiastic about this. Has a very circa 2000ish random sci-fi feel. Not much of a "Marvel" movie. It could have been one of those bunch of sci-fi movies Tom Cruise starred in a few years back (like Oblivion).
I daresay that this could very well be one of Marvel's first "flop" (well, at least by Marvel standards). All the people I know don't even care for Captain Marvel; they're just waiting for Endgame

Shes like a 7/10 in looks for a blonde and her robot expressions don't help her case either. I really don't understand this casting.

She does actually look like a good casting choice for Carol Danvers in terms of looks to be honest. From the facial structure to the hair... I still got to wait for to watch the whole movie before I judge her acting. She seems pretty much how I expect Carol Danvers to be in my opinion Originally Posted by Vorkreist
