The new live-action series will follow Knuckles (Idris Elba) on a hilarious and action-packed journey of self-discovery as he agrees to train Wade (Adam Pally) as his protégé and teach him the ways of the Echidna warrior. The series takes place between the films SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2 and SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 3.

Stream Knuckles April 26, exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Canada.

The series will stream on April 27 in all additional Paramount+ territories, and in Japan later in the year.

I wasn't even anticipating this show until the trailer. I don't expect it to be very good but it speaks childhood me and how we had the mythical depiction of Knuckles. Never thought I would see Knuckles how my my friends and I talked about him on the playground. The Knuckles we say when we pretend to be Sonic and all of them. The Knuckles we described when we had out "who would win in a fight and why" discussions at the lunch table.

Now I have to see it when it comes out, don't even care if it is horrible.
