Incursions or qued nontwink Islands for fastest 110-120?

Hey guys tried leveling a few alts with incursions but it doesn't seem to be rewarding very much xp, question is in your experience is it more efficient to que for islands (non-twink runs) or do incursions?

Do the incursion, get the 10% exp buff from them and then do islands with the buff. Incursions are crap for exp but they give an exp buff to make up for it.

At least that's what I've heard. I'm not subbed so I can't confirm.
