Should I sub now or wait for Patch 8.1.5?

Not really. There are some new world quests etc and the naga invasions might reward a decent ilev but no big new content. Unless you want to level a kultiran human or zandalari troll, I'd wait until 8.2 to resub.

Game feels alright at the moment. I don't exactly know what you mean by "LFR guy" but if all you do is LFR, then you could sub now and do Battle of Dazar'alor, no idea when the Crucible of Storms will open up after 8.1.5 launch. There's also the boring Darkshore Warfront, maybe you'd enjoy it but I sure don't.

You can spam Darkshore for 355 gear and WQs now go up to 370+

You have loads of avenues to level up gear wise now.

Hell no. All 8.1.5 is are races that are timegated as a new player because Blizzard love taking core features and timegating them these days and 2 remastered BGs.

Wait for 8.2. My advice is give ESO or FF14 a bash. Far superior experience imo.

World quest is very unfriendly this expansion.
It gives 370 only when your gear is 369.

My alt just reached 350 because the Darkshore quest gives 400.
My main finished before. He doesn't get it.

My ilevel was 336 when I wrote the first post.

Then I subbed. My ilevel is 350 when I write the second post.
It is enough for Battle of Dazar'alor LFR.

My other alt doesn't have darkshore open. He doesn't get the ilevel 400 quest gear.
He couldn't reach ilevel 350.

BFA has been using catch systems for months. World quests, LFR, warfronts, world bosses, gear drops from rares and treasures chests in Arathi and Darkshore, emissary rewards, assaults, and crafted gear. My frost mage hit 355 in 3 days.

You already have a catch up system, gear is so easy to get.

Wait to see what were saying about 8.2 when it comes out. Nothing is happening right now and 8.1.5 ain't doin nothing new besides a couple new races 1 of which is pretty awful on the eyes..

You get the 400 item each time it is up. Arathi will keep giving 370. It has never been easier for lower item level characters to rapidly catch up to heroic raiding item levels.

You can catch up pretty easily using warfronts and world quests.

But I'd wait for 8.1.5 anyway.

Just depends on if you want to play the new races and crucible of storms raid. Im totally in for Zandalari trolls, changing my Ret and Feral over to ZT. Already got all the requirements done. And I'm also curious about the crazy new items in crucible of storms.

I'd take other's advice and wait for 9.0. Don't waste your money on a sub to BFA.

All 8.1.5 stuff that I remember:

- Zandalari and Kul Tiran races - require Exalted with Zandalari/Proudmoore, finished 8.1 campaign (without raid) and 8.0 storyline (finishing all 3 zones + finale)
- continuation of story quests
- Brawler's Guild season 4
- questlines for each crafting profession with special item at the end
- update for events (Darkmoon Faire, Trial of Style), new Draenor Timewalking with two new mounts and other rewards, some new mini-holidays
- new 2 boss raid - Crucible of Storms and questline leading to that (won't launch first day though)
- smaller stuff, like new portal room and 50 characters cap on server
- Warsong Gulch/Arathi Basin remaster
- Arathi brawl vs AI
- I guess at some point we will have Naga world quest leading to 8.2 launch (I think it will be something like Magni scenario before 7.3)

Little more stuff than 7.2.5/7.1.5 (minus raid that was launched during 8.1) which had no story content, but it still is small patch. Next big update will 8.2 around May/June.
