Fitz is getting the nod for the Dolphins which means watch out early season opponents, you're gonna get the magic before the tragic takes hold and segues into Rosen mediocrity.

If the rumours are true about Dolphins potentially trading LT Laramy Tunsil, then Fitz might get a taste of his own medicine...

What I've been hearing from "friends" who are Dolphins fans are that they're putting Fitzmagic out as the sacrificial lamb for the very tough first month, before easing into Rosen.

Jadeveon Clowney may be on the move to Seattle, depending physicals of players involved etc.

    No news about the compensation.

Looks like the trade is pending due to "several" physicals.

A lot of moving parts in this one.

"Couple names I'm hearing: Barkevious Mingo and Jacob Martin" - Texans Beat writer

If that's true that's an awful return for the Texans. The pick was basically a guarantee, to whomever they sent Clowney, the players were supposed to be the cherry and they get two back ups that were likely going to get cut? AWFUL.

Terms for the #Seahawks trade for Jadeveon Clowney: Seattle gets Clowney, the #Texans get a third-round pick, LB Jacob Martin, and pass-rusher Barkevious Mingo, source said.

Yearly reminder the Seahawks got screwed in the Duane Brown / Jeremy Lane deal for a failed physical.

So the Raiders just cut Hard Knocks hero Keelan Doss and I am livid.

Every bit of camp film, every pre-season game has had him playing lights out. Dunno what more he could have done to earn a spot on the roster.

Pats release Hoyer, Broncos release Hogan.

Daniel Jones looked better than Stidham on the first 2 drives, but it's been all Stidham since then. (and no I don't think that means he's ready to be the lone back up. He's still slow with reads and a tick late with execution. He needs more time.)
Well, wtf do I know really xD

BB has apparently decided that Stidham is plenty ready and cut Brian Hoyer.

I have to say though, that if they cut Hoyer for real and not just to open a temporary spot, then someone we did not expect to make the roster is going to make it.

Wonder if it's someone on offense or defense. Jacobi Meyers and Obi Melifonwu come to mind as players I had off my list.

Gotta save room for both Glennon & Peterman

Brett Rypien also released. I kind of figured both Hogan and Rypien would be gone, both sucked pretty bad.

Sounds like whoever they bring in to be the backup is only there until Lock is healthy, so that probably rules out Sloter or trying to trade for one of SF's QBs. Also means Brian Hoyer makes a ton of sense with him already knowing the offense.

I swear we best trade one of them for a team desperate for a QB at some point this season, or I'll be popping blood vessels every time I see Doss making great plays for someone else.

Welp, that's 0 for 2 on my 4th preseason game predicitions.

Hope I'm not wrong on point 3 I made. >.<

    3) Patriots kicking operation looked smooth for the first time so I'm thinking they worked the kinks out in practice the past week since the screw ups last week (mostly on the new holder, rookie Punter Bailey.

Patriots also placed C David Andrews straight on IR, without carrying him on the roster at first. That means his season is officially over and he can hopefully work towards fixing his blood clot issue and be ready for next season.

(if a team carries a player on the initial 53 man roster and THEN puts them on IR they are eligible to return that season. Andrews will not be)

49'ers have also done this with Jerrick Mckinnon, his season is over as he needs another knee surgery.

Tunsil and Stills to the Texans, in exchange for a small mountain of picks that includes a 1st.

Report coming in, two 1sts and a 2nd.

Jake Butt, Theo Riddick and Drew Lock all going on IR. Getting drafted by Denver is probably the worst spot for Butt to go, their TE position is cursed.

Dolphins are drafting Tua even if they need to give up all their firsts and seconds to do so.

Texans, meanwhile, I'm still unconvinced BOB survives this season.

Oh, because it got missed in the day's level of ridiculous shit. The Texans also traded for Carlos Hyde from the Chiefs, sending Martinas Rankin to Kansas.
