No Nature damage DPS in WoW

How come? I used to think Balance Druids were Nature damage based DPS, but now they're more cosmos-unicorn-powered spellcasters.
Wonder if that could be new class next expansion... some Dryad thing

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Rogue poisons also Nature?

Balance Use Nature/Celestial as Damage dealing abilities

Restoration is Made up of Nature-based healing Spells

I suppose... I meant more like leaf killing power and shit We have that fancy hero in Heroes of the Storm, not sure what she's called, that Dryad lady - now that's a nature based character, like really nature.

    You're confusing flora with nature.

You're right Shadowsgrace. It's an imbued poison with nature magic/damage.
Was trying to see how i would explain this, good enough tho?

Aren't Balance druids and Elemental shamans able to deal nature damage?
FOMO: "Fear Of Missing Out", also commonly known as people with a mental issue of managing time and activities, many expecting others to fit into their schedule so they don't miss out on things to come. If FOMO becomes a problem for you, do seek help, it can be a very unhealthy lifestyle..

Both shaman DPS specs are heavily nature damage focused. All their lightning, wind, and earth spells do nature damage.

Sounds like what you're looking for is something like old school druids when they had stuff like insect swarm, entangling roots that did damage, and hurricane. Of course even then they had moonfire and starfire.

I would like something like that too though, but I feel like it's unlikely to happen.

well I imagine next expansion they will introduce yet another class, as usual, so seems likely... unless ofc it's tinker that everyone is asking for, for some reason

Technically, Elemental Shamans damaging abilities are from "nature" as earth, fire, lightning, and wind are all forms of nature. Same with Balance Druids: using the power of the sun and moon are natural forms of damage.

Now, do you mean the classification of the abilities? How Moonfire and Lunar Strike is designated as Arcane damage and such?

There are theme/flavor differences between the spell class of an ability and the lore reasoning for the ability.

I think what OP meant more is that there are no grass/plant based casters in WoW. Balance druids used to have a much more green/natural theme, and these days it's much more based on the sun and moon with a few plant-based abilities.

I kinda always thought the sun/moon theme should be given to a new caster and instead they should focus balance on being about nature, but I realize that'd probably piss off a lot of people who like the class's theming as is.

We need a glyph that turns Sunfire into Insect Swarm.
Scheduled weekly maintenance caught me by surprise.
