As in, people who know your personality generally either REALLY like you or REALLY dislike you, with very few inbetween opinions
I've always been one although I'm not sure why

Proud far-left Democratic Socialist
Conservatism is a plague on society.
Not at all OP, I'm just naturally disliked by all humans. There is no in between.
Challenge Mode : Play WoW like my disability has me play:
You will need two people, Brian MUST use the mouse for movement/looking and John MUST use the keyboard for casting, attacking, healing etc.
Briand and John share the same goal, same intentions - but they can't talk to each other, however they can react to each other's in game activities.
Now see how far Brian and John get in WoW.
As I'm quite an opinionated person, I can be polarizing in certain company. For the most part tho, I'm a fucking delight
I'd have to say yes. Most people either like me a lot or hate me. I'm pretty blunt on a lot of things and I tend not to sugarcoat things disregarding people's feelings. Some people like that, others do not.

Usually I am cautious of most people, trustworthiness is something that does not come easy for humans. However, I am an extremely loyal and trusting person, and am great with punctuality. As I age more my mind allows for more and more open ideas and to at least listen a little bit more. It is an extremely difficult thing to learn over time and dealing with humans.
"Polarity" probably is not the right word to use since it feels harsh to me. Though, some humans do deserve the harshness of complete separation due to whatever ideology, mentality, or physical stature they posses.
I probably would sub the word with "Demarcate" for me personally. I find drawing boundaries and lines at a certain limit and making those limits clearly known to others. That they know well in advance and that my spark of strength and fierceness can erupt when those values, boundaries, or ideals are crossed.
I am fiercely competitive and extremely reasonable.
Again, Polarizing isn't the right word for me but, I got your point.

I try not to engage in controversial/divisive topics with people I'm not pretty good friends with, so I'd say no.
I don't think so. I mean, I've come across some people, especially in High School, who disliked me without even knowing me, but generally everyone who gets to know me gets along with me just fine.

In person, most people tend to like me fairly well when they first meet me. I tend to treat people accordingly, based on how they act and behave round others. If you don't like me, there's a good chance it's because I don't want you to like me.

Your sig makes little sense though as far as political theory goes, the far-left can be the most conservative force of them all due to the anti-capitalist mantra which can stall progress. And that's according to Marx himself (if common-sense isn't enough), progress is an effect of capitalism after-all and a product of scarcities of sorts. So as far as the far-left is concerned, conservatism isn't a plague but another area where a magical balance must be maintained, as capital has the tendency of attempting to convince their targets that their culture is shit so they can buy them-off cheap.
So how certain are you that this sort of self-contradicting nature of yours isn't what's deterring people from wanting to spend more tine with you?
