Losing your boss for crazy reasons.

So I get a text from a coworker and she explains that we lost the manager who was over us and that he was escorted out in cuffs but then released from said cuffs. Not even our Store manager or Co manager knew this was going down when it did. THEN I am also informed that one of the other people I work with is going to be asked if she is dating someone she is over and she acts like we snitched on her.

She leaves with him for lunch every shift and then is seen by other people. Like the fuck does it take to explain it to her so that she understands she has NO ability to be discreet about it and is completely obvious about it. She couldn't be less obvious if she literally fucked him in the middle of the damn store.

Am I crazy? Like this was my day off and I still couldn't escape this shit.

well she didn't in the store I was just saying she just...lacks any understanding of a need for subtle discreet behavior. And yea thats kinda what ive been thinking the last few hours....I just want something stable and not prone to up and down roller coaster drama.

Weird, though in my profession I’ve stumbled on this a few times here are my rules.


As long as who I caught is not in any danger of being seen by children and are doing whatever with a consenting adult. I won’t say shit an move on and mind my own business.

The only other exceptions would be whoever I caught wasn’t supposed to be there and actually was a threat or danger to themselves or someone else as in physical danger.

As for who stick what where. Look don’t involve me in your bullshit and don’t expect me to lie. If you’re a fucking scumbag that’s between you and the other adults.

At a workplace I can see how this can suck. But honestly your coworker would be at fault for putting herself in the situation. Nobody else should be obligated to lie because someone they work with is stupid.

Personally I’m of the mind that coworkers shouldn’t date or get involved and I have also seen it become a liability so yeah firing is called for especially if two adults can’t manage their personal life such as this more discreetly.
