Those depictions are only dramatizations of a largely boring change in climate patterns.

    4 degrees is A LOT. That's the difference sometimes between shade and blistering sun. That makes a difference in the world with humans at the center. I expect electricity prices to go up and water consumption to go up as well. Problem is we're losing water.
