Don't know what to do? Why not Zoidberg? Buttigieg?

His 'gotta vote for somebody, might as well be me' shtick did not impress.

It's a horrible quote because it's a stupid talking point about Sanders. He doesn't believe capitalism is the root of all evil, he just wants the rich to pay their fair share. Because if they did, we can get the healthcare, education, and infrastructure changes this country desperately needs.

And Klobuchar's response about Buttigieg is great memorizing talking points instead of actually getting things done was great because it's true.

And topping it off by spitting out the Fox News talking points about FIFTY TRILLION DOLLARS OMG!!!! (it was 34 in the last Fox News article I read BTW) He's basically TV news in a suit.

I just love this part of the debate. Bloomberg should get out before he embarrasses himself.

I'm sure his donors are very happy with that sentence.

The problem with this quote is that, if accurate, it just means that "most Americans" are willfully ignorant and don't understand what "socialism" actually means, or where the idea arose from.

Here's a hot tip; socialism came about because capitalism failed to achieve any of the goals Adam Smith established for it. If Adam Smith, father of capitalism, got a fresh start today? He'd be a socialist. The number of people who defend capitalism but have never readWealth of Nations is ridiculous.

9 out of 10 Intelligence officials agree with Intelligence officials that Russia is messing with ma shit. Most computer scientists don't find much evidence that Russia is hacking anything and while a good deal of them are posting online as an American, you'll find that all countries are doing this. We Americans mess with Russian elections as well. Just looks like an excuse to make the other person look bad.

Capitalism isn't the best system, but it's the best system we have. Socialism is a failed system as history proves time and time again. When it comes to understanding the ignorance on capitalism vs socialism, if I were you I wouldn't be throwing stones.

This is baseless emotional propaganda, based on nothing.

This is a straight-up, unadulterated lie. Objectively false in every respect. If you want to narrowly only refer to communist nations, China's economic power and rapid growth easily disproves your claim that it's a "failure", just looking at current examples. And before you say "but the human rights abuses", we're talking about economics, here, don't derail with a straw man.

The moment you realize that narrow perspective is itself willfully ignorant of what "socialism" actually means, it becomes clear that the entire Western world is heavily dependent on socialist systems, and has been for the better part of a century now. And the reason for that, is because capitalism failed, running the global economy into the ground, in the Great Depression.

    You're pushing propaganda. Not reality.

If Socialism is terrible and Capitalism is the best then why do the rich get Socialism?

Please point to a country that is pure laissez faire capitalism with no military(socialized national defense), courts/law enforcement(socialized contract enforcement), etc etc. Somalia? Maybe. And that's only because the national government collapsed completely and now we essentially have multiple local "governments" in the form of warlords. I want true anarcho capitalism because if there's any form of government there's a socialist aspect to it.

. Point is tons of countries have many socialist system and are dirty smelly commies by your standard and thriving. Most of Europe I'd say first your definition.

All economies are mixed economies and many use socialized systems, including the U.S., because it's more efficient and market can and often do fail.

Lol. Youre not pushing propaganda? I mean, there have been protests in China against their socialist/communist govt almost the entire year of 2019. Had the Coronavirus not gone crazy, the protests would still be going on. Cant believe youre trying to use China as your example. You just cant accept the fact that you are wrong and that your ideas are backwards. Not only are they backwards but they would detrimental to the US. Nobody, besides a small fringe group of far left whackos want socialism in the US.

Cuba has a higher average(and healthy) lifespan than the US.

Not that Sanders is communist or socialist.

A better way of putting is that China is not communist or socialist at all.

I want to belive this but I'm old enough to remember Democrats turning a blind eye to the moral character of their president when Bill Clinton commander in chief.

Democrats and Republicans are clearly not the same, but power is a hell of a drug.

    Scandinavia? Half of Europe?

    Edit
I think the problem here is that you don't know what socialism is.
I am NOT talking about communistic countries. Socialism is not contrary to capitalism. It is contrary to liberalism and conservatism.

It doesnt matter, im guessing that Bloomberg has info that the Superdelegates are up for sale. They were last time Bernie got cheated and Bloomberg has way bigger pockets than the Clintons.

Socialism already exists in the US. Only right wing whackos are ignorant to this fact.
