I just realized what this expansion really reminds me of.

This is WoD 2.0.
One of the most imaginative and fantastic looking expansions propped up on refining old mechanics and a system that integrates all aspects of your character, from levelling, gearing and even endgame progression.
It even has the updated player models.


It definitely cannot be as bad as WoD though, given the sheer amount of endgame systems they have in place. But it is interesting nonetheless.

Agh the additional racial customizations were nice. Not sure why that was left out of the feature trailer? Though I am kinda bummed about still not having any form of cross faction play. Whats the point of additional customization if you can't realistically play half of the options available?

I mean the Covenants are cross faction so maybe they'll be some anount of cross Faction play?

But I'm still waiting to hear about the new 1-50.

No new 1-50. Cool that you can pick where you level, but not for SL. Im convinced they are working on it for 10.0. It makes sense.

Sounds like they're spending most of their time consolidating and polishing systems this round, rather than making new stuff. And Blizzard has always excelled at polishing.

I believe "Original races" means all except the Allied races.

He did say all original races but he could mean that in reference to the originals vs allied races. I think that's what he meant, especially since the goblins and worgen just got their own revamp. They likely were working on it at the same time.

Covenants is just more of the generic Azerite bullcrap, ie nothing that develops the classes and generic one-size fits all abilities heavily based around the current expansion's theme.

You can be black, asian, etc as a human now. With black features! And Asian features! and more features in general!

There was already skin color customization..

Thankfully they finally added facial customization to represent more players though.. Not sure why it took so long

naah dark skin is more than just skin color i should've said black but so glad black and asian toons can be made.
