At least six Philadelphia police officers were shot during an active firefight in Philadelphia’s Nicetown-Tioga section and rushed to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon, the president of the Fraternal Order of Police said. Another officer suffered a non-shooting injury during the incident.

You said cops vs 1 innocent guy. And I say they are also innocent. You can look up the definition of the word if you need.

Example there are 6 firefighters trying to save one innocent guy trapped in the fire. The firefighters are willing participants and they get paid to take the risk. You still choose to save 6 firefighters vs 1 innocent guy.

Given the choice to save 6 or 1 is a crap situation. But it is no choice. You save as many as you can no matter their profession.
