    Being nice to opposing faction?

Good day to all of you. Please give your nice story in here and leave inflamed remarks for other post. The other day i was traveling to dungeon and i saw an Orc warrior about 8 levels below me. Per usually i see red they are dead policy was about to be applied. I cast a frost bolt and crit in his face and proceeded to cast another. The warrior looked at me in a perceived sad face accepting his fate and just waved. I felt so sorry for him and stopped my spell mid-cast , poly'd him to full and moved on. He was doing the same thing we all do day in and day out; grinding. It was very unlike me to do that, i still gank, cause i get ganked , its the nature of the game. Please dont tell me that its fun to just explode on a caster while he oom and sitting down drinking, or poly/fearing someone into pack of mobs. Just thought i would share. thanks for reading.

Honestly I have empathy depending on how far away is the spirit rez. If it's a 10mins walk, dont do it man. It's not funny at all. If it is a 1min walk, sure kill eachother.

Yeah if your at the very top of alterac mountains and get ganked as an alliance.......you get to enjoy walking back from south shore. That and I found the badlands is a long walk back if your deep in the area.

UUm, yeah I did the whole PVE thing in Vanilla-BFA. This time around I level on a PVP server I am the asshole that gets blacklisted by the opposite faction I wait for a warrior to pull too many mobs and then dot him up and fear him, I wait for a caster to be OOM then dot him up and fear him, I am the boogie man that little Rogue Hordies tell their kids about at night.

I'm usually nice to other faction cause atm theres no reward. I dont get honor yet. I'm just trying to quest. If someone is being aggressive or attacks tho, I'll light them up.

In stv, running towards arena and pass a horde 7 pvls lower than me. Let him live. Arena is starting. Immediately get jumped by 60 rogue but manage to escape. Decide fuck this and leave as I'm at 15% hp. That low lvl finishes me off. Rez back up, hunt him down, camp him for a few deaths. Hate that shit. Making it harder and harder not to just demolish lowbies of the zone

I'm on PvE, so I can't really hurt the enemy faction..but I can ignore the ones that are dying to mobs and laugh. That being said, I was running through 1k Needles to get the FP in Feralas and came across hunter struggling with an elite cat mob. He was half health and the pet was about to die, elite cat wasn't even close to death. Being much higher than that zone, the mob was grey to me.. so I turned back as I was watching it unfold, put some frost bolts into the cat and saved the hunter. Then took off on my journey.

When I played original Vanilla WoW on a PvP server, I usually left the other faction alone unless they attacked me or it was someone that I had fought previously in the past. I played a rogue so I could pick my battles and if I wanted revenge, it is easy to get when you can sneak up on people fighting mobs.

So far I've never really attacked the alliance unprovoked. Which is very unlike me. Usually red=dead.. but without the honor system in place yet I'll let it slide. I've notice the alliance have mostly done the same.

Usually, I am kind and do not gank lowbies. Yesterday, however, I should have, as I had a pretty funny circumstance, and yet I did not.
Long story short, I was riding my horse near Maraudon as a level 48 Horde warrior, when I ran across a group of three allies, level 37 to 40, who were doing an escort quest.
Normally, I would leave them alone, and that is exactly what I was going to do, when one of the lowbies /laughed at me. I stopped, considering whether I should kill the one who laughed and leave the others in peace with their escort quest, but I moved on.

Certainly, if you are doing the most notoriously annoying type of quest and you /laugh at someone who is 10 levels above you, you are not the brightest kind.

Around peak server time in hotly contest zones like Ashenvale, it seems generally accepted that people group up looking to rumble, so I've tagged along to smack around whomever we find — especially if they're in groups, too. Usually leads to some fun back-and-forth skirmishes as the evening settles.

Otherwise I won't attack unless attacked, and almost always wave.

to be honest, while the pvp systems aren't in the game i kinda wish that blizz had enabled 'dishonourable kills' to try and help prevent the asshats that camp low lvl players and/or help dissuade people from being a dick in general, so far while levelling i have not once attacked an member of the opposite faction first, it's always been as retaliation for attacking me, usually as i'm half dead from killing a quest mob or something they come in and gank me, or they swarm me and camp me after that until they get bored and fuck off somewhere else, i'm older now i don't have the time to sit and wait to keep being farmed repeatedly, it's not fun never was, but unlike the first time round i had time to burn back then whereas now i just wanna get shit done and be on my way asap, i'll even help the enemy kill stuff if it means i can get done quicker honestly the whole faction war thing died for me back in wrath, since then i stopped caring about the whole 'orc v humans' shtick.

    No.

Kill on sight unless outnumbered 4 to 1 or more. Then duck and hide.

I leveled to 60 with less than 10 deaths from Alliance players, on pvp server. It was unspoken no hostility rule among people who played a lot to get to 60 quickly, because it only wasted time for both sides with no benefits since pvp system is not working yet. But on my alt I will mercilessly murder any alliance player I will meet.

lol, in retail i was like speed level, however in classic i take my time, pick some flowers, throw a line in the water, utter out senseless thunder-fury spam, or take part in anal {fill in the blank} spam....i am atm 35 and in no hurry...its about the journey....so slay some lowbies along the way, or pick fights one v two. Just sometimes being nice to the opposing faction. its about the journey

I usually toy with the other side more than kill them. MC them while they are drinking. Toss a SWP on them if we pass on the road. Aside from that its mostly a waste of time.

Was running from Arathi to Badlands. Murdered everything in my wake and will continue to do it no matter the level difference. War is hell, everyone should remember that.

I am never ganking low levels, both in classic and in retail

If i want to pvp i am playing rated (sad classic pvp) so i am playing vs equal players not low levels, not 2k players.

My first plan is always try to make friends. Help them kill their mob, wave, etc. I'm just there for my 15 gorilla femurs, and usually so are they. But if they attack, it's on. Even if I don't kill them, I'm going to harass them. At the most inopportune time, by the way.

Without the honor system being in Classic yet and only being out for 3 weeks, I haven't started anything with the other faction. Most people are still leveling.

I've had people kill me. One guy killed me 3 times. Things like that do piss me off, because there is no point to it right now without the honor system in place. If the honor system was in, I get it. Otherwise, I see no reason to kill someone when they are grinding or questing.

Well I wasn't rushing to 60 by retarded mob grind etc. I have herb, alch, cooking + fishing on 260+ and I did almost every dungeon (except Stockade and Deadmines) for quests. And I finished quests on all maps since 20 level, and I'm competing rest of them even when I'm 60, because it gives you huge amount of gold.
Sadly my 2 week work leave ended so I can't play 18 - 20 hours a day anymore.
