I cant hear my imp in classic

At first I thought that lock pets didnt talk in classic. Then I got voidwalker and succubus which talk everytime I send them to attack. I just want to hear "This is NOT in my contract!!!" from my imp for nostalgia reasons.

I'd think my pet voice settings were off if it wasnt for hearing other pets.
Maybe the imp doesn't talk in classic and I'm remembering it wrong?

I think I heard mine talk a few times, some sort of complaint when attacking.

You could just macro your spells with a /petattack and /startattack and your imp won't shut the fuck up then.

Weren't imp voice lines added later on, like closer to TBC? My imp only speaks in text.
