Planets in WoW are actually just Titan eggs. Eventually the titan hatches. The titans are male or female, since there are two genders.

Azeroth is supposed to be a female titan, and the most powerful one. She's also supposed to turn evil and destroy the universe due to old god corruption, which is why Sargeras was trying to save the universe by killing her.

Yes one of the books, said that Sargeras fell into a sleep and dreamt of Azeroth. He stood before her and she opened her eyes and looked at him. He immediately became enamored with her and then chose to not kill her. He wanted to corrupt her and make her his.

That sounds outdated because Sargeras isn't corrupted and Azeroth is supposed to be more powerful than him.

And obviously he didn't go with that plan seeing as his goal has always been to kill off the unborn titans so that none can become a void titan.

They actually have, but okay. Believe it or not adding more female characters to the narrative isn't supposed to be threatening to the men that are in the story.

If you're making a dig at Anduin (because that seems to be popular here) for every normal softspoken non idiotic male character there are 20 rage filled angry men, if that's more your speed.

Neither soft spoken nor rage male characters are strong characters.
