    If there are enough felons for felons votes to truly matter then you probably have bigger issues than their voting (or things are so close it is a bit much to claim it is about felons anyhow)

    But also a democracy where people are excluded sounds not so much as a democracy to me

    Voting rights can be restored after you are out on parole. If you violate parole and go back in the big house then your voting right is revoked again until you are out.

    Absolutely depends on the crime. Why should a criminal have the right to vote if they do not care about the people around them or the country they live in clearly? I find the idea insulting that a murderer or a rapist serving a life sentence should be allowed to vote from prison.
