Question about starting a guild

So I want to start a guild as a bank. I was wondering if I can do the following, can I have a friend start the guild, then sign the charter with 10 of my alts from the same account? Or is it 1 sig per account and not 1 sig per character.

I think its for character, so you can use your alts.
