Federal government needs to really fund national mental health care coverage/services for hospital workers after all this shit. Like, across the board. Doctors, surgeons, nurses, administration staff, security, janitors, food service folks. Fuckin everyone there. Thanks, Death Cultists. They'll be the loudest to cry about it, but it's amusing that we're seeing what's happening in hospitals - Death Cultists eating up resources because they're too dumb to get the vaccine - replicated at the state level.

LDS Church won’t help California members avoid vaccine mandates

Latter-day Saint leaders in California have been told not to sign “religious exemption” forms for anti-vax members who want to dodge vaccination mandates by citing their faith.

The issue has arisen in that state because it now requires vaccines for health care workers, teachers and others.

Some members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have asked their lay bishops to support their applications to receive religious waivers from their employers.

“No church official can sign any kind of document supporting the notion that church doctrine/teaching is opposed to vaccination or that the church is opposed to vaccination mandates,” reads a letter sent to all bishops and stake (regional) presidents from the faith’s Area Presidency. “As to the former, the opposite is true [the church not only supports but also encourages vaccination]; as to the latter, the Brethren [top officials] have not taken a position.”

In some instances, the letter adds, “signing such documents could even be perjury.”

Fox Corp. human resources chief Kevin Lord effectively communicated to employees that they all face a choice: Get vaccinated or face a daily Covid-19 test.
Lord told staffers that after the company asked employees to report their vaccination status, more than 90% of full-time Fox staffers "reported that they are fully vaccinated." Lord then explained that "soon" the company will introduce daily testing for the staffers "who are not vaccinated or have not provided their vaccination status." Lord said "additional details about this protocol" would be "shared with the relevant employees in the near future."

In effect, Fox has adopted a more stringent version of the vaccine and testing mandate President Biden announced last week — the mandate that the company's loudest voices have trashed and deemed to be nonsensical and "authoritarian." While Biden pushed a vaccination or weekly testing requirement, Fox is saying it will implement a vaccination or daily testing requirement for unvaccinated staff.

All of this has prompted the White House to offer some praise to the Rupert Murdoch-controlled company, while also issuing a challenge to it: "Today's news from Fox News follows a trend we're seeing across the country: vaccination and testing requirements work," a White House spokesperson told me Tuesday night. "We are glad they have stepped up to protect their workforce and strengthen the economy, and we encourage them convey to their audience that these types of practices will protect their employees, their communities, and the economy..."

Since mid-July, delivery of the antibody cocktail made by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals has soared from 25,000 doses to 125,000 doses per week, with about half shipped to four states: Florida, Texas, Mississippi and Alabama, said Alexandra Bowie, a company spokesperson.

Apparently it is now up to 150,000 per week. Most still going to a few states.
