Misinformation and propaganda won this election. I'll give you an example, there are four people I check in with on facebook, they are trump supporters. Friends of my wifes aunt. Anyways, two are banned right now because they were making death threats because they heard antifa was coming to central wisconsin to riot. One is cryng about polls and the other is telling people buy more ammo and posting this, talking about civil war. This country has a rot that is not going away in our lifetime.
Nearly? ANTIFA and BLM have already started it.
Ah, ok - thanks for the link. It will be interesting to see if the Ossoff/Perdue race can hit 50%+1. Obviously the other race is going to the runoff.
If they both go to runoff Georgia will be fucking insane in January. I wouldn't be surprised if $0.5B was spent there alone.

AZ update: apparently the use of sharpie pens in gop precincts is causing ballots to be invalidated. Could be huge numbers of mostly Trump supporters. More to come
Oh the Mother Effin Irony!!!!!
For those who may not be familiar. Trump is know to sign everything in a sharpie.
Democrats are the best! I will never ever question a Democrat again. I LOVE the Democrats!
It's kind of hard to avoid political talk in voting day, so yesterday my day was filled with quietly nodding at people who said they didn't know who to vote for. "I can't trust Trump/Trump's handled covid really bad, but *insert Tim Pool talking point about Biden here*."
It was painfully obvious they voted for Trump and were pretending to be indecisive. If there's one thing that will eternally confuse me, part of the reason many people vote for Trump is that strong-man machismo archetype, the type of person who's a bully and can bully the other houses. Some people just LIKE bully leaders, and that's what Trump is. But at the same time, it seems a lot of Trump voters are having to pretend they don't like him or vote for him because they know just how bad it makes them look.
Trump's a narcissist, his campaign communicated with Russia about interference in the 2016 election, his tax records show clear tax fraud and tax evasion, the entire family is nepotism incarnate, out of all the world leaders Trump has handled Covid the worst objectively (we had the tools and technology and means to stop the spread and we didn't because Trump), He's severely out of shape and can barely climb up or down small inclines without sweating and getting winded, he clearly has moments of dementia where he's not there. But hey, Biden has a stutter, must mean he's unfit to lead!
2014 Gamergate: "If you want games without hyper sexualized female characters and representation, then learn to code!"
2023: "What's with all these massively successful games with ugly (realistic) women? How could this have happened?!"

Human progress isn't measured by industry. It's measured by the value you place on a life.
Just, be kind.
I mean what can you do. Idk how many who choose to split the ticket who really disliked Trump so decided to go Republican Representative or Senator to check Biden. I'm mainly talking about Republican leaning voters.Sen. Susan Collins says she's "just received a very gracious call from Sara Gideon conceding the race."

I kind of hoped that one would at least make it into ranked choice tabulating, so we could see how that shook out.
