We had an Atari 2600 with a shitton of games (I still have it actually). I don't remember which specific game I played first, but Pitfall was always my favourite.

Something on Commodore 64 I assume. Let's say Boulder Dash.

That was one of the best games ever made. Simple, elegant and just perfect.

    Owned or played?
First that I remember playing was Mail Order Monsters on my friend's Commodore 64. The first I recall owning was Gauntlet on my Atari 520STfm in 1987.

Probably super mario, but the game that affected me the most and stirred up my imagination is: Zelda Ocarina of time.

It was also the first game that was properly mine. The others belonged to my brother.

Hard to pin it down, but probably some early Sierra adventure game or Ultima 3.

I remember playing Digger, Sokoban, and Tapper as some of my first few games, though the first one that I really liked and remember was Captain Comic.

That was on the family computer at the time. I can't remember whether it was earlier or later than Streets of Rage but part of me thinks it must have been earlier because I remember much more about those games, and barely anything about this one.
Was that maybe Moon Patrol? I played that once at a friend's house..

Turrican series had fantastic music. Got a music box that plays the Great Bath tune on it.

Primal Rage for the Sega Genesis. I loved dinosaurs as a kid so my parents bought me a dinosaur fighting game!

Pong... I played it on a console called TV jogo 3, it had those pad controllers with a wheel, which you used to move your "character" up and down.
