17. Started in mid 2006 after one of my old family friends was playing it on his laptop at a summer BBQ. I had heard of WoW but never really looked into it. I'll never forget seeing him walk into Blackrock Mountain on his night elf druid. From that moment I needed to see more and sure enough within the next week I was starting my own druid. Been playing ever since.

12 years old and clearly way too young to understand much of anything back when I started almost 14 years ago. The game was a Christmas present during Christmas 2006, so I only managed to play a short while before TBC launched.
I didn't even properly start raiding until WotLK, and even then my maturity was.. Lacking. I also didn't speak English all that well, and going through puberty at the time certainly didn't help much either.
