That's clearly a Warcraft Orc. The UI and environment, however, is generic mobile game.

Do you think it's Warcraft related, a ripoff mobile game or just for the looks of the commerical?

The proportions are off. Warcraft orcs are beefier. And it's moving so fast you can hardly see anything anyway.

It's not a direct ripoff of the Warcraft style of Orc, but it certainly is meant to make you think of one. The armor is a dead giveaway.


You are able to make things look like something else without completely ripping it off and potentially being in legal hot water. The first thing I thought of when I saw the orc was Warcraft.

Lord knows there's countless cheap mobile games that have suspiciously similar units and buildings. The other day I saw one which clearly had a meeting stone, even.

Don't forget the cars in GTA V all resemble real life models, but are mixed up with other car models so it doesn't 100% look like one, thus avoiding the rights.

I agree with Kalamity, It's more generic than the Warcraft Orc.. I can name a few other games with this style of Orc in it.

It's not a straight model grab, but come on - the color scheme, the armor elements, the boots, the shield on the arm... It's very clearly a 1:1 copy of the grunt.

It looks more like Shrek than a WoW orc even with the screenshots people have posted here of it. The generic orc image companies use in ads and shit are that they're green and use "primitive" or "barbaric" armor & weapons. That fits this guy 100%

I do agree with the OP.

Radioactive greenish orc is not exclusive to blizzard but it is not your generic orc either.
The large teeth is also not so generic.
The red armor with spike and the wiking red helmet seals the deal.

It is meant to look like one.

But still, it's pretty generic.

Also, the commercial is selling Fiber connection, so it's not actually a game or anything. So I see no issue.
