So sick of people suggesting stupid time skips, it's not gonna happen guys. Time feels longer for US in SL. Look what happened to Jaina, Thrall, and Baine. But not much time will have passed on Azeroth.

250 years from that leaker... Yeah so everyone that's not a belf,nelf, draenie, or some other races with extreme life spans has kicked the bucket.

Not having a time skip is even more stupid. The lore as it stands is ridiculous, but just imagine 10 expansions from now, every single canonical year there is a world ending threat. At least give some expansions 5-10 year gaps.

I mean I can still go and kill Deathwing although that happened years ago. That's the usual logic error you have to live with in an ongoing, developing game. Same with the annual threat.

Not sure how you got that at all from what I posted. Just because they've been doing something since day one doesn't make it good writing. Having a world ending threat occur every 12 months for over a decade is ridiculous, give it some breathing room, Shadowlands could have had a 5 year time gap and no one would have even noticed.

You're assuming that just because there's a time skip the lore will magically fix itself. I'd rather just keep riding this out than risk a time skip with even worse lore. At least these datamined broker tidbits are expanding the cosmic shenanigans more. Who knows where that could go.

Did you read my post? Time skips are just one aspect of why the writing is bad, it wouldn't fix it, not even partially, this is just a fix for that one issue, since it's pretty horrible world building and in terms of believability of people actually living in this world.

MoP wasn't world ending, nor was WoD, or even BFA before 8.3.
