Should casual players do Tower of Torghast ?

I don't plan to level a craft profession to max level.
I don't think I can afford the Legendary Base Items from AH.

Is the only reward from Tower of Torghast to power up the legendary items ?

Torghast is designed to be casual content. It's like Dungeon Run in Hearthstone.

What do you mean you can't afford the mats? Even right now it's like 5-7k gold to get the base item and missives, with the still inflated price on anything crafted. That's about what you get after a day of doing world quests.

have you already done the questline from your covenant to open Torghast? it gives gear iirc at the end, an Ilvl 171 piece, not sure what after that as i havent finished the quests inside yet. and if nothing else you can make alot of gold doing run after run in there too. and you can get pets, mounts and other stuff too, go read up on it.

The cost of the bases will go down, don't let that deter you.
