Not as much as you'd think, because so much of it is spent walking alongside NPCs who decide to stop moving if you get too far ahead, meaning you need to backtrack to make them move again or standing around waiting for Jaina to stop talking already.

Yes, alts can use the Corridor Creeper mount at any level (provided they have the riding skill).

You can skip the Legion and BfA ones, so why not this? Just give a second dialogue option to go straight to Oribos instead of going to Acherus. Should be good enough
I don't play WoW anymore smh.

Not too sure why you'd want to skip it. It gets you straight to level 51, takes 30 minutes and doesn't really require any effort at all.

I will agree that it's super weird you can't skip it though considering in previous expansions you could skip the intro quests. I'm guessing they'll let you skip it in 9.1.

Those are scenarios, maw intro is an actual zone with quests and stuff.

I think it feels tedious because....surprise....we walk. Which is high on the list of complaints about the Maw (and conveniently ignoring that at least at lv 60 you can have shortcuts or get yourself a temp mount...and a permanent one from your lv 60 main that your alts can use (right?)).

At the same time, we get and got people wanting the game to be more like Vanilla were...you guessed it...walked for FOURTY bloody levels.

It is a bummer when devs listen, eh? Always to the worng ppl. Yep..I went there...I made that connection between ppl wanting the game to be more like Vanilla and us getting the Maw and walking
Maybe, but the zone itself feels really unfinished and in order to get anything out of it, you gotta reach 60 and farm rep from the broker NPC.

That place is all about the horrors and being a bad place, but that feeling quickly ended and now its just getting tedious.

I agree with you. I find it weird they havent just implemented that already. I expect it to happen in 9.1.

Keep this thread in the back of your minds.

The day Blizzard adds the skip, this forum will have a new thread demonizing Blizzard for adding a skip to a lore/story filled quest chain and how Blizzard caves to anyone who whines, blah blah blah.

    Calling it now.

    Badly needs dialog skips.

Also no you can't do it in 15 minutes. I bet it's closer to 30-35 at the absolute fastest due to RP elements.

I hate it. The majority of the time is spent waiting for NPCs to do their thing. I would gladly skip it altogether even if it meant losing on an easy level up.

Also protip: even if it's your first visit, you can mount the weird doggo mount if you have it. Makes it a bit faster.

Yep. This is why I'm not leveling alts until I eventually get the mount or they add a skip. it doesn't take too long but it's boring as hell, tons of RP where you just have to alt-tab out and wait. It's one long-ass escort quest. I despise it.

which, if you have 10+ characters and you have to do it on every one can be veeery tedious...

I imagine they'll add a skip in the next content patch - it'd be welcome, too; while the intro scenario isn't really difficult it's tedious and mind-croggling to do repeatedly. I'd take the XP hit to skip it, honestly.

Well, we can do you blood and love without the rhetoric, and we can do you blood and rhetoric without the love, and we can do you all three concurrent or consecutive. Totally, skip the XP, that's fine. Just let us skip it.

I think the problem is, that unlike the Legion or BFA intro, this isn't a scenario so we can't just "skip" it. Unless of course they add something akin to the Timeless Isle bonfire-Gorgrond teleport.

Yep, and a zone that becomes annoying as f**k to do on your tenth character you make. With zero skip. At least we have the Threads of Fate right?
I don't play WoW anymore smh.

The last Alt I level I only did three zones and got to 60. I'd rather do all four zones than the intro maw.

Not efficient though. I could get that same level dong quests in another zone that grants rep, gear, anima, etc. Then just replay the same thing for the 6-7-10-13th time. Why are you so rude anyway?

You jump in. Talk to whoever. Boom into Oribos and selecting story or do my own thing lines of questing. Getting anima, rep, gear, and renown instead of standing around waiting on NPC's and getting nothing but exp.

    Skip the MAW I̶n̶t̶r̶o̶.. Please

    I fixed the title.

I vote yes! I was about to start my first alt of the expansion, did like 5mins in Maw and actually logged off right there, leaving my poor alt without any rested exp ticking or anything, completely deserted in the middle of the Maw. I simply CAN'T push myself to play that crap, I rather do something outside of WoW than playing an alt as I will not push through that intro.

The place is SHIT, the faster you realize this Blizzard, the better!
