I've been stocking up on bottle caps for the eventual fallout.
The point is that they have actual real-world uses, that are not about simply generating wealth... but being part of physical (often industrial) products. Now, I'm not a fan of investing in them, because of their periodic volatility... but ignoring their actual uses seems foolish.

Okay if you're not hoarding then I wouldn't buy metals right now. Metals is a weird place to try to make a quick buck.
I'm optimistic about about real estate and the stock market but I still don't see why I would put all of my eggs in one basket.Tell us all about burying our treasure just in case everything else loses all value.
I mean, some of my mineral specimens could be metal ores. But I collect them because they're pretty, not to invest anything.
silver is low risk, others will prefer stocks or crypto, the later being degenerate risk I suppose, but high risk high reward
i got 1oz maple leafs and silver eagles stored somewhere....from 30 years ago. any offers ?
