Westerns have not been the most popular genre of movies for young adults since the 60's and 70's, but every now and then, we'll get a new classic. My favorite is Once Upon A Time In The West. Beautiful soundtrack, cinematography is breathtaking, and I just love the simplicity of the story. Chiefly among top criticisms of it, is it's supposedly too slow-paced and long. I disagree. Even scenes stretching on without any dialogue and seemingly nothing going on keep me engaged in the simplest and most nuanced actions from the actors; be it a long meaningful stare that says a lot more than dialogue ever could, or trying to blow away a pesky fly.
