WoW Patch 9.0.5 Hotfixes - March 12, 2021

Classes

• Death Knight (Forums / Skills / Talent Calculator)
  
  • Anti-Magic Zone will now consistently grant its damage reduction to the casting Death Knight.
    
• Warrior (Forums / Skills / Talent Calculator)
  
  • Protection
    
    • Reprisal (Runecarving Power) now grants 4 seconds of Shield Block (was 6 seconds).
      

Covenants

• Venthyr
  
  • Fixed an issue where Ember Court items could still drop from Revendreth Tributes after players changed covenants away from Venthyr.
    
  • Venthyr players should now always receive either a Blank Invitation or Ambassador's Reserve from the Revendreth normal Calling reward, Tribute of the Court, and both items from the epic Calling reward, Favor of the Court.
    

Dungeons and Raids

• Halls of Atonement
  
  • Halkias
    
    • Fixed an issue that could cause Refracted Sunlight’s visual effect to not accurately depict the damaging area.
      

Pet Battles

• The Plump Turkey pet no longer jumps into a nearby campfire and sets itself on fire repeatedly, it has returned back to jumping into the campfire once and combusting. Press F for our feathery friend.

Player versus Player

• Warrior (Forums / Skills / Talent Calculator)
  
  • Arms
    
    • War Banner (PvP Talent) will now apply to players who were already crowd controlled before the banner was placed.
      

Torghast, Tower of the Damned

• Anima Powers
  
  • Death Knight (Forums / Skills / Talent Calculator)
    
    • Occult Emitter will now grant increased Runic Power generation while the Death Knight stands within their Anti-Magic Zone.

To be fair, ive often placed banner right before the cc was applyed and my mate got full cc. Like spellreflect is up but youre still cloned, cause server lags.

It's just a nerf to a legendary that was completely changed with the last patch. It's still great with that hotfix. (and a lot of fun in M+)

They changed this legendary on the last patch, on PTR they noticed it was inmensely overpowered at 6 seconds and they lowered it to 4 seconds; but somehow it went live unnerfed. So this is basically a correction.

Blizz basically "bug fixed" when they said it was intended in beta when it was reported. But Wanted to nerf MM aoe again and did it under the guise of a bug fix. So now they have nerfed MM single target immensely while tyring to nerf AOE. Basically making the spec bottom tier for single target
