Are there any single player games with "Gameplay loop" ?

Could play Diablo or PoE single player, they're as grindy as they get

I like Diablo systems a lot, Paragon and Kanai's Cube is amazing, mainly because once you grind it, it's yours to keep forever, and it doesn't go away when the new content is released. The fantasy is definitely there.
