Honestly Germans weren't themselves this game. Midfielders seemed like they were afraid of the ball, just playing back every time a white shirt appeared in their field of view. Can't win a game like that. Only Havertz seemed to have tried.

Löw is gone and now its time for Flick.
I dont understand Löws gameplan at all and the players he bring in.
Defence problems and 1 defender is sick... yeah we dont change a thing. Why bring Süle against a team that is good with header and standarts....
    Midfield.... lets throw out Gündogan.
Attack, lets bench Sane and dont give Musiala any time to play.

Still the only team still in the tournament who hasn't conceded?
Ex-Mod. Technically retired, they just won't let me quit.

Wow Germany were awful. Deserved win by England, but still falling short to look impressive and proper contenders imo.

That went pretty much like I expected. Begone Joachim.

Losing to this english team is truly embarrassing, that was really weak sauce. But finally Löw is gone. If you thought it couldn't get any worse after the world cup...

Agreed. My mother just casually told me. Because I was already expecting the German team to lose, I didn't even bother to watch this year. The time for personel changes on all levels of the team were neccessary for years, I hope it will happen now.
You are welcome, Metzen. I hope you won't fuck up my underground expansion idea.

The problem with stuff like this is that they're the highest level of professionals and there is a ton of reasoning behind their decisions. Even more so in regards to who is nominated into the starting eleven. How can we armchairs managers judge them?

This being said. I agree that I just don't understand Löw. Why not start with people like Sane, Gnabry, Gündogan and Süle? As if a player like Mbappe would ever be subbed in at min 80+ when you're a goal behind.

I am happy he is gone now. Flick will build up a proper team. He is the only reason for Germany's WC win.

What arrogance he's asking if it's true because its an interesting statistic. You just want to see it as arrogant
