What made Legion better?

The amount of content they put out to make sure each class, and to a lesser degree each spec got it's own unique superhero adventure was bonkers compared to what has come out since. Yeah the feeling of being special didn't last, but damn we felt like all out time on Azeroth finally paid off as we became the heroes we could only dream of being as a level 1 in Elwynn forest.

Don't know if they're ever going to top that as far as making us feel heroic.
