Were Holy Pallies this bad originally in TBC?

This is so wrong on so many levels. Healers have metrics too and no, it is not their job to babysit you.

HPS alone mean nothing without taking into consideration fight design or group skill, low HPS on a fight with everything avoidable and a good group is normal for example because there is nothing to heal so there is no way the healers can have high HPS.

HPS can be low because :
- Raid don't take enough damage (because of being overstuff or good enough to dodge everythings or fight design)
- Too much healers which lead to healers getting bored and fighting over the few hurt target to have some healing to do aka heal sniping, worst offender being Druids with their hot.
Or simply of course being bad it can also happen.

Also a healer job is to heal whatever the reasons that's your priority if you don't heal someone and he die because you were spending GCD to dps (even if the mistake is from them) mean you're a bad healer because on the long term losing someone mean less dps so a longer fight for your group also if you got a battle rez it just got wasted because you didn't do your job (because of stupid ego) and if the combat rez come from a warlock you made him lose dps or put him in danger because he need to do a 3 sec cast...
So yes it's your job to babysit people and if you don't like it you can stop doing PUG or go play a selfish dps spec who will suit more that mentality.
