And why does a developer making a change to the game that you have no control over have to be because of whatever narrative you feel is appropriate? It doesn't. Your opinion isn't that important. But you know whose opinion is important? Those of the people who are being paid to make the video game. My real problem is having these idiots ruining the parts of the game that were clearly made by people that are far more talented than them. My real issue is the changes in Black themple and Karazhan wich were absolute gems on their time (ten fucking years ago) and having it being smudged by these people that brought us BFA and Shadowlands is an absolute insult. Why mess with stuff most players experienced back then and had absolutly no issue with?

The content of the story and the content of the game aren't on the same spectrum. It doesn't have to be all of one or nothing of another. This binary thought process is precisely why these changes are controversial (and also precisely why they shouldn't be).
