Tell that to both teams who don't have most of their characters halfway through Honored, I guess. They play an absolute shit ton of alts and have been living inside splits or M+ since the season started, it's hardly unbelievable that they can't reliably spend that much time per day per character doing dailies and shit.

Jailer seems to be tuned with 2 Legendaries in mind. No way this guy is dying tomorrow.

Phase 3 jailer at 77%, this feels very suspect.

    16 hours.

And Denathrius. Even though Echo was slow during the reclear, they had absolutely no chance since the boss only required splits to go down after reset.

Yeah, it is game-changing advantage that looks set to determine this race. The resets should start on the same day as long as they WFR is on or the difference in time should be taken into account because a WF kill from the EU would mean that not only that the players have to beat the boss first, but that they also have to close the advantage of an entire day of progress.

You guys need to post this on Blizzard's forum, this is not up to Liquid or Echo to decide. Both teams would want the same reset timings if they could.

Honest question: is it easily possible to do a global raid release, or are there some kinds of technical difficulties?

Super easy, no technical difficulty at all... If you think about expansion release, they are global.
    So patch would be trivial.
    Its just historic legacy shit...

Actual WF thread posts after Blizzard does a global release:

“Guys, it was released at 9PM local time for XYZ guild. That means they only had a few hours on it the first day, compared to ABC getting the launch at noon and having a full day of raiding. GG BLIZZ YOU FUCKED UP YET AGAIN RACE ISNT FAIR. WERE TALKING HOURS AND HOURS OF TIME LOST!!!!”

Quite sure that just opening the raid at a specific point would be a thing of 15 minutes for a single dev.

Changing the reset time etc is probably a no-go. Too many systems are tied to it. The best thing would probably be tournament realms.

    Technical difficulties aren't the problem.

The problem is changing up schedules for 99.999% of players just to accommodate the 50-odd people seriously involved in the WF race.

With US, EU, China, and OCE to consider, shifting the reset to one global time will screw over SOMEONE. Imagine you are a run-off-the-mill raiding guild, and now suddenly the reset is at 8pm for you, right in the middle of your prime raiding time - all so two guilds can have a slightly more fair face-off.

This would only affect mythic guilds and those mythic guilds that raid midday are really rare. It wouldn't affect nearly anybody relative to wow's population.

Hi, Timezones are a thing. Midday for one part of the world is prime time for another.

  16. #1996
I think both Liquid nd Echo have stated they would adjust sleep schedules for global release.

Imagine NA raid opening time does not change, that would be about 5 pm in EU. The guilds that are doing mythic before 5 pm can be counted on one hand. As I said, this would have no effect on any guild outside of the few that raid midday.

The liquid strat consists on making up for the loss dps of having an extra healer by having 4 Holy Priests for that extra Power Infusions which translates on a shit lot of more dps to the given targets.
yeah i should have been more specific. echo has insane healers. liquid has insane dps

I think I did make a post a long time ago on their forums. The EU forum tend to be overlooked, at least in comparison to the already overlooked NA forum. Too bad nothing will ever come of it, unless the teams participating get to influence things directly. It'll help the integrity of the race on track.

And the rest of the world just doesn't exist, or...?
