Does the terms make and female seriously trigger people? Does seeing those two labels somehow make you feel oppressed and non-inclusive?

Male - female is binary, so I guess people who consider themselves non binary somehow feel offended.

But then having the options body type 1 and 2 makes it a binary system again, sooooo.....

Like are we getting to the point where "male" and "female" are considered oppressive language because a loud minority?

I have never met anyone with such a thin skin, who exactly is blizzard catering too?

Some people might be more comfortable getting to select the pronouns the game refers to them by, especially nonbinary people who arent often represented. Others may not want to be assumed to be a certain gender by other players. It's a comfort thing that's ultimately harmless. I'm fine with body type1&2.

Some women, who have female chromosomes, who have female hormone levels, who have uteruses... have very masculine bodies.

Some men, who have male chromosomes, who have male hormone levels, who have testes... have very feminine bodies.

Accommodating that basic, biological reality may hurt your feelings, but it won't change that it is a basic, biological reality.
