Anyome playing wow through boosteroid without issues?

I want to buy a cheap laptop because of cloud services, it won't make me miss anything compared to expensive gaming ones. However I see that wow bans those who play through cloud services? is this true? is this the case with every mmo?

Is the cloud streaming necessary? I'd imagine you would be able to play okay at the minimum possible graphics setting and lowering the resolution. Sure, it won't look pretty, but if you want pretty then you really want to be playing on a desktop computer at home. Also, given how absurdly tight the AoEs and the interrupts are in retail WoW, I'd imagine the added latency of cloud streaming would be fatal.

Pretty sure Blizzard's got a stance against stream playing that might result in a ban.
