    Raid Wide Totems

I've heard a lot of people mentioning Raid Wide Totems.
Anyone got some links to blue posts or patch notes about this matter?

It got me a little bit concerned, if they do it with ALL totems.
I really really really don't want my tranquil air totem to be raid wide, that would suck.

I must be very blind, I can't find it in any patch notes.

Please be so kind and copy paste the part where it says "Totems is raid wide".
    I've searched through it all.

    Re: Raid Wide Totems

Really beyond my point. There are several fights where you can't go that far away, Illidan is one that springs to mind. Not that I use tranquil air totem often, but it happens.

Since it's removed in WOTLK, tranquil air discussion is rather useless.

But to be back on topic, I still haven't found where they say totems will be raid wide.

The posted link has no mention of totems being raid wide. It says paladin auras are now raid wide, but nothing about totems beyond them being in the physical school.

Yes they will be raid wide.

    Proof?
I just said they will (and more will say the same) that should be enough.

    Re: Raid Wide Totems

Yeah call me a douche fine, but I have yet to find it on anything OFFICIAL!
wotlk wiki is FAR from offical stuff.

I found a handfull of links on google when searching, yes, but nothing I wall qualify as offical and remotely believable.

Instead of calling me a douche for trying to get information from a more trusted source, such as a blue post or offical patch notes, you could just ignore it topfer.

If it's burried in some closed beta/alpha/dev forum, fine, nothing we can do will have to wait.
If it's something some blizzard employee said doing WWII, fine then SAY that instead of telling me to READ something non existant.

In case of the latter, I will just have to remain sceptical to hearsay.

No reason to get hostile for me trying to dig up official words of a rather big and important change in mechanics of a class.

    Re: Raid Wide Totems

tank threat generation has been upped by about 45% and things like Salvation / Tranquil air removed and integrated into DPS class talents.

CBA finding the source, but put your head to rest in regards to tranq airing tanks with the new raid wide totems.

The only thing you should be worried about now is theres a point in bringing more then 2 shamans to a raid if they can supply all the totems youd ever need.

    Totems aren't the only thing.
Unleashed Rage is now raid wide, Elemental Oath still seems to be party only. And resto get a number of really nice tools (even though they might have to lay off CH a bit to make use of it)

    3 actually.
Enh for imp WF totem, Ele for ToW and Resto for imp. Mana Spring :P
Not to mention that Enhancement will only have 20y range on their totems, making it rather hard for ranged classes to get the effects.

    Re: Raid Wide Totems

There is still no info about Mana Tide totem. So it can be raid wide aswell, which can be handy because of potion sickness.
